QuantMig members Professor Jackie Wahba and Dr Valentina Di Iasio have written for The Conversation on the factors influencing asylum seekers’ destination choices. They look at data on asylum seekers coming to EU countries between 2008 and 2020, and find that the strongest pull factor for asylum seekers to a destination is social and personal networks - read their full contribution here.
