Three QuantMig outputs in the UN Migration Hub Repository of Practices
We are pleased to announce that three of the QuantMig project outputs have now been included in the Repository of Practices of the UN Migration Network Hub - a knowledge exchange platform associated with the implementation of different provisions of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration.
The project outputs included in the Repository of Practices include the QuantMig Migration Estimates Explorer, the QuantMig Migration Scenarios Explorer, and the DEMIG-QuantMig Migration Policy Database. All three provide migration practitioners and researchers with open-access, online, searchable resources, related to the uncertainty of European migration estimates and scenarios, as well as a database of recent migration policies in Europe.
All our practices included in the Repository are related to Objectives 1 and 3 of the Global Compact, referring respectively to Data and Information Provision. The DEMIG-QuantMig Policy Database, which extends and builds on the previous work in the DEMIG project, is additionally related to Objective 23, International Cooperation, by including bilateral and multilateral policies.
This work has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 870299 QuantMig: Quantifying Migration Scenarios for Better Policy.
